You may be familiar with Chuckster’s as the home of the longest mini-golf hole in the world. That’s only one of the cool things about this course. There are many unique holes and challenging obstacles.

One complaint, I really dislike courses that are designed to allow your ball to go into the water and require a net to fish it out. There was too much of this at Chuckster’s. However, they also had some neat areas where they’d built the water into the hole and if your ball went in it, it would still arrive at a location near the cup. Like this neat covered bridge.

They also have other truly challenging holes, such as this ramp. It looks a lot easier than it is! Which, of course, is half the fun.

Whoever designed this course did a great job cramming a lot into a small area. The one downside to that is that if it had been crowded, I’m not sure where people would have stood while waiting for their turn to putt. But maybe it doesn’t get that busy since there are many other things do there, too.

As far as handicapped accessibility – there weren’t stairs, but it is hilly and the sidewalks are raised just enough to keep balls from existing the course and rolling down the sidewalk to the next green, which is great for the ball, but likely a tripping hazard for someone with limited availability. And the longest hole requires you to walk down a long, steep slope, which might be tough for someone on crutches or a walker.

The ice cream is from Blake’s and super good! Pro tip: the sprinkles are FREE! So make sure you ask for some, not matter what size you get. We went for itty bitty and it was still quite a large serving.

Overall, I’d definitely play here again. It’s a fun course with well-maintained surfaces and fun holes with unique challenges. I do wish the whole “downing ball” thing was less of a possibility, but I guess that means I need to improve my game!
